Technical requirements for videotapes for play on Staten Island Cable go as follows:

1. Programs must be submitted on DVCpro videotape.

2. All audio must be on Channel 2 only.

3. Bars, tone and countdown must precede program start.

4. Program title, series name and episode number (when applicable), producer and or program sponsor name (when applicable), and accurate times must be printed in 2 places: on the tape itself and on the spine of the tape box.

5. The cue time should be one minute. The cue time is timed from the begininng of the tape to the start of program. This includes approximately 20 seconds of black, 30 seconds of bars anda 10 seconc count down.

These specific instructions were sent to us by Staten Island Cable's Master Control Operators. Any other formats will hinder the process of cablecasting your programming.
